Energy Drain is a Power in Mass Effect 2. Energy Drain is a Power that belongs to Tech Powers and is available to Tali'Zorah vas Neema and Commander Shepard regardless his or her Class. Powers in Mass Effect 2 are a set of abilities that can be used to attack Enemies or to defend you and your squad. As you gain experience, you acquire Squad Points that you can spend to improve aspects of your character. The Powers available to you and your squad are determined by the Class selected in Character Creation.

Energy Drain is available to Tali'Zorah vas Neema by completing Tali: Treason and Commander Shepard via accessing Tactical Mastery.
How to get Energy Drain?
Tali'Zorah vas Neema will obtain Energy Drain when the Tali: Treason Loyalty Mission is completed.
Once Energy Drain is unlocked, it can be learned by Commander Shepard using Tactical Mastery Training Upgrade at the research terminal.
Energy Drain Progression Rewards
- Each rank upgrade requires the same points as the rank.
- When Energy Drain reaches Rank 4, players need to choose between two final evolutions.
- Once you have chosen an evolution, you can not change it back.
