Illium: Gianna Parasini is an Assignment in Mass Effect 2. Illium: Gianna Parasini is about meeting Gianna Parasini, an old acquaintance from Noveria. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect 2, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.
Illium: Gianna Parasini Walkthrough
Hermia can be found at the Serrice Technology booth. If you didn't use already Charm or Intimidate to negotiate lower prices, you can use either Charm or Intimidate to convince her to sell technology for which she does not have the license. Charm will net you +5 Paragon Points and Intimidate will net you +5 Renegade points. However, if you have negotiated lower prices previously, there will not be Charm or Intimidate options. After this, Gianna will then approach and tell Hermia she's been caught and will be fined. You complete the Assignment by talking to Gianna again.
You can also tell Hermia that she's being investigated by Gianna. She will give you a discount and leave. You don't have to use Charm nor Intimidate to reach this conclusion, and you earn +5 Renegade Points. The discount is the same you obtained if you negotiated lower prices, and won't be discounted further if you have already done so. Doing this, will make Gianna feel betrayed by you and she won't converse any further.
How to unlock Illium: Gianna Parasini
- This Assignment is only available if a Mass Effect save file has been imported with her alive.
- She can be found sitting at a table on the Trading Floor on Illium.
