N7: Blood Pack Base is an Assignment in Mass Effect 2. N7: Blood Pack Base is about investigating a Blood Pack base that is believed to be a Weapons manufacturing facility. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect 2, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.
N7: Blood Pack Base Walkthrough
Getting Ready
You will be facing Krogan and Vorcha of the Blood Pack mercenary group. Bring Powers to prevent regeneration such as Incinerate, Incendiary Ammo and Warp.
Walkthrough
Once you regain control after landing, you will find a datapad to your left. Leave the landing site and you will encounter a Palladium crate and a second datapad to your left. Head down the ramp, go right and into cover, a fight is coming.
Across from you you will see some Blood Pack Troopers and Blood Pack Boom-Squads. You will find more Enemies in the pit below, but first deal with the ones on the top. Once they are down, deal with the ones below.
When they are all down, head down the ramp into the next area. Take your time to grab the clips, the Palladium and then examine the datapad.
In this next are you will be attacked by Blood Pack Troopers, Blood Pack Boom-Squads and Blood Pack Pyros. Deal with the Pyros first, and don't let them get near you because they are incredibly dangerous at close range. When you take them down, move out to the door. SAVE before opening it, and once you are ready, enter.
Once you open the door, you will find the Krogan Kalusk. Prevent him from getting near you because his Shotgun can be devastating. Focus on him first, and then move on to the other targets. Once the fight is over, there is a Palladium crate to grab in this room.
You can find four containment cells in the middle of the room. You have to destroy them to complete the Assignment. When they are all destroyed, evacuate. Avoid the explosions and get back down the hallway to finish the Assignment.
How to unlock N7: Blood Pack Base
- You have to complete previously N7: Blood Pack Communications Relay or alternatively, you can buy The Shrike Abyssal star chart from Baria Frontiers on Illium
