N7: Endangered Research Station is an Assignment in Mass Effect 2. N7: Endangered Research Station Walkthrough

You land by yourself at the magnetic shield generator. You can salvage x2000 Palladium from a broken generator while heading to the controls of the shield. That is the only loot available during the Assignment.

When you bypass the station central command terminal, you gain access to the part of the station that allows you to do the repairs. You will find a cooling unit, a control switch, a shield generator and a shield control. As indicated by the yellow lights, the switch controls which of the other three you can activate. 

Use the control switch twice to switch power to the cooling unit and proceed to turn it on. After that, use the control switch to switch power to the shield generator and turn that on. Last but not least, use the control switch to switch power to the shield control and bypass it. 

How to unlock N7: Endangered Research Station

• You have to complete Stop the Collectors: Investigate Collector Ship previously. If you have the Firewalker Pack installed and the M-44 Hammerhead has already been retrieved, you can start this Assignment as early as after Horizon.
