N7: Imminent Ship Crash is an Assignment in Mass Effect 2. N7: Imminent Ship Crash is The MSV Broken Arrow is on a collision course with the planet below. Reactivate the engines and deal with the Geth aboard.. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect 2, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.

Getting Ready
During this short Assignment you will be facing Geth exclusively, so pick Companions and Powers for better dealing with synthetics. Powers like Overload, Disruptor Ammo, Energy Drain and AI Hacking work wonders here. Tali can be an excellent choice as a teammate.
Walkthrough
This is a short Assignment and you have only 6 minutes to complete it. Once you start, you will hear EDI on the comm explaining the need to restore the power quickly.
Before reaching the first door, you will find a pad containing some logs, don't worry, reading stops time. However, bypassing doors does take time, so head to the first door and bypass it as quickly as possible. You will be facing three Geth Troopers there. Unleash everything you have on them, then access the medical station on the left. There is Iridium to be found behind the crates, and then bypass the console on the right to unlock the door leading to the engine room.
Your objective here is to restore power. This can get complicated because two of the switches to restore power take time to activate, and if you are hit by enemy fire while doing so, you will have to start the process again.
As soon as you enter the engine room, waves of Geth will be arriving from the balconies overlooking the room. Find cover to deal with them. Note that this time, there are Geth Rocket Troopers joining the Geth Troopers.
Once you've taken them out, find the first switch and proceed to activate it. After managing to do it, head back down to the front of the room, grab the Iridium partly hidden behind the cover on the left side, then cross the trench to the right side of the room.
More Geth will have probably arrived, so repeat the same process you did before. Take cover, defeat the Geth and activate the second switch.
Once both switches are activated, head to the ramp on the right side and run up to the upper rear area, located behind the engine. There is a console you have to bypass in order to reactivate the engine, but don't worry about enemy fire. Once that is done, the Assignment is completed.
How to unlock N7: Imminent Ship Crash
- The MSV Broken Arrow is located in the Nariph system of the Pylos Nebula. You have to but the Pylos Nebula star chart from Baria Frontiers on Illium.
