Project Firewalker: Geth Activity is an Assignment in Mass Effect 2. Project Firewalker: Geth Activity is about looking for probes that were used by Dr. Cayce to learn about Lattesh's anomalous weather.. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect 2, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.

Project Firewalker: Geth Activity Walkthrough

Although the name may lead you to believe there will be combat, actually there is none of that, but a race against time. 

The cold of the landing site is enough to freeze the Hammerhead's engine. You must scan all 10 sites before the engine freezes and ends up in a premature end of the Assignment. To make things worse, the Hammerhead's speed decreases as the engine cools. 

It is recommended to use boosters during this Assignment. To find the sites, you have to look for the red pillars of light. Scanning each node, restores some heat to the engine. 

If the engine freezes before all nodes are retrieved, the Assignment still concludes and the Hammerhead returns to the Normandy. Although you receive full experience, the Cerberus Fundind portion of the reward is lost.

• To acquire this Assignment you have to acquire the Hammerhead from Zeona. (Project Firewalker: Rosalie Lost)
• Head to Lattesh, in the Chomos system within The Phoenix Massing cluster, and scan it to start the Assignment.
