Project Firewalker: Prothean Site is an Assignment in Mass Effect 2. Project Firewalker: Prothean Site is about the last known location of Dr. Cayce.. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect 2, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.
Project Firewalker: Prothean Site Walkthrough
You begin this Assignment in the Hammerhead, and you learn thanks to the vehicle's VI that the kinetic barrier protecting the fig site is too powerful for conventional Weapons to penetrate. In order to bring down the barrier, you must destroy the generators that power it.
To find the generators, just follow the power lines to find them. You will be facing many Rocket Drones all over the Assignment.
You can find 4 Element Zero deposits at the outside of the base, totalling x1200 Element Zero.
- You can find one at ground floor.
- On a cliff, opposite the ground floor generator.
- You can find the third one by jumping across a gap to a cliff at the same height of a generator.
- The final one may be found near the highest generator, behind a protective rock formation.
Once the last generator is destroyed, the barrier falls, there won't be more Rocket Drones coming and you can leave the Hammerhead to enter the ruins on foot.
You will find many bodies of Blue Suns mercenaries, a box that contains x225 Element Zero and a datapad on a table. Head deeper into the site to find a journal. You can loot x3750 Credits from a dead merc and another container with x225 Element Zero. Keep heading on, and eventually you will encounter a terminal with a biotic upgrade (Hyper-Amp) and another journal. Then hack the computer to get access to the relic. Near the entrance, there is another dead body, containing the last datapad.
Approach the relic and examine it, first it will turn green, and then it will shrink to a more manageable size.

- You acquire this Assignment after completing Project Firewalker: Volcano Station.
- To head to Kopis, travel to the Hoplos system in the Hades Nebula. Kopis is the moon of the planet Makhaira.
