Sentinel is a Class in Mass Effect 2. Sentinel fights with both tech and biotic abilities. Classes are pre-made character roles with their own particularities and pre-set Powers. Players can change these values during Character Creation to fit their own playstyle.
Sentinel Information
Sentinels are equipped with the most advanced ablation armor system to keep themselves safe. If overloaded, the system will stun all enemies within a short distance.
Sentinels are unique, bringing both tech and biotic abilities to the battlefield. While they lack the focus of adepts and engineers, they are versatile and can handle any situation.
- Can enter a battle with both tech and biotic abilities.
- Is equipped with the most advanced ablation armor system to keep themselves safe.
- If overloaded, the armor system will stun all Enemies within a short distance.
- Sentinel can equip Heavy Pistols and Submachine Guns
Sentinel Class Powers

Sentinel Passive Class Power Progression
Defender: Increases your health. Enhances your Power Recharge Time. Improves your Paragon and Renegade scores.
- Each rank upgrade requires the same points as the rank.

Sentinel Specialization Class
When Defender reaches Rank 4, players need to choose between two final evolutions.
Once you have chosen an evolution, you can not change it back.
Guardian
Grants an extra bonus to your Power Recharge Time and Paragon-Renegade score.

- Paragon/Renegade: +100.00%
Raider
Increases your Power Recharge Time and all your Powers damage.
