N7: Quarian Crash Site is an Assignment in Mass Effect 2. N7: Quarian Crash Site is about an extremely urgent distress signal from a shipwreck on Gei Hinnom. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect 2, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.
N7: Quarian Crash Site Walkthrough
Getting Ready
You will only be facing Varren during this Assignment. A LOT!. You will also be facing them while protecting a weakened Quarian. So bring Powers like Incinerate or Reave.
Walkthrough
Once you land, the journal updates and tells you to search for any survivor of the crash that may still be alive. Search the camp to obtain Palladium and a Med-Kit. You can also read some logs from a computer. Now follow the blood trail out of the camp to find an injured Quarian female in need of stabilizing. You won't have to fight anything until after stabilizing her, so make preparations before doing so.
The upcoming battle is short, but can get out of hand easily. Don't equip Weapons with low extra ammo reserves. The objective now is to protect the Quarian until your shuttle arrives.
Varren will start coming from multiple directions and most of the time will ignore you in order to be able to get to the injured Quarian. So the one closer to her should be your number 1 priority. There are also some explosive containment units littered across the ground to repel some of them.
Once you defeat about 20 Varren, the shuttle will arrive to carry out the evac. You can finish the Assignment as soon as the shuttle lands by running up to it and pressing the action button.
How to unlock N7: Quarian Crash Site

You have to buy the Hades Nexus star chart from Baria Frontiers on Illium first. Or, alternatively, Project Firewalker: Volcano Station and Horizon.
