N7: Anomalous Weather Detected Walkthrough
Getting Ready
You will be fighting Geth during this Assignment so the usual Powers against them will work wonders. AI Hacking, Overload, Energy Drain and Disruptor Ammo.
Walkthrough
The main problem of this Assignment aren't the Geth or any other powerful enemy, it is the lack of visibility, that you will notice immediately once you step off the shuttle. So before getting any further, prepare your defenses and Ammo Powers. It is important to thread carefully and slowly, towards the blue spire of light you see faintly through the smog. From the shuttle, move towards the rock column on the right, to obtain some Palladium.
You will see a flare to your left, next to it, a path leading upwards. Follow said path to reach three refined Palladium rocks. Head back down away from the transport and you will come across another flare next to a crashed probe of sorts. A little further back from this probe, towards the shuttle is another Palladium rock if you didn't pick it up earlier.
Be careful, for as soon as you step forward from this point you will be attacked from the fog by Geth. The lack of visibility makes the fight harder than it actually is. Use the cover around wisely and shoot back. A good idea is to send your squadmates first. Among the Geth Troopers there are also Geth Hunters, that can cloak themselves, so keep your eyes open.
When you reach the top, head left to find another Palladium rock. Heading forward from the flare, leads you uphill past another one, and towards more Enemies. Keep going forward and you will find another Palladium rock. Ahead, you will find a split in the path, both lead the same way and both have Palladium rocks, so don't forget to grab them.
Ahead you will find an area with a large boulder in the middle. You will have more Palladium rocks, two on the left and one on the right. Past the boulder, you will encounter more Geth resistance.
Again the Geth Hunters are the main threat here because of their innate ability to cloak. This time however, they brought along a Geth Destroyer. Its flamethrower attack is devastating so, be on the move if you see it getting near. Keep in mind that there is not much cover here, so don't move around unless needed.
Once you reach the top of the hill, you will find a large Geth structure with the last bit of Palladium to the left and a Geth Device to the front. That device has to be interacted with to stop the current weather and end the Assignment.
